Thank You Page Conversion Tracking In Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

You have a new marketing website all set up to generate leads for your business but there's just one problem; before you can start advertising your website, you need to set up "thank you page" conversion tracking in Google Analytics 4 so you can know which marketing channels are driving the most form submissions (i.e. leads).In GA4, it's actually not possible or necessary to set up form submission conversion tracking to fire on the "thank you" page. GA4 has what's called "Enhanced event measurements" which will automatically fire 2 events for your HTML form:

It's very easy to track views of your "thank you" page as a conversion or key event in Google Analytics 4.

First click on the gear icon on the bottom left corner of your Google Analytics account to go to the settings

Next, click on "Events":

After that let's click here to create a new event:

Click the "Create" button:

Enter a name for your custom event, select page_location in the parameter box, contains operator and in the value box enter URL for your thank you page without your domain name:
