How Migrating To Webflow Boosted My Organic Search Impressions

I recently migrated Freak.Marketing over to Webflow for reasons explained in this blog post. I didn't really anticipate receiving a bump in traffic from Google Organic, I simply wanted to ensure I didn't lose any of my rankings. It's been a week now after I've migrated the website and to my surprise, not only have I not lost any rankings thanks to the properly set up 301 redirects, but it would appear that I have seen a boost in Google Organic.

It's been a few weeks since the migration and the trend seems clear:

If it's not due to the migration than it's an awfully big coincidence. I was just hoping not to lose any of my rankings sine I was updating the routing for individual blog post URLs. I didn't consider the fact that my organic search impressions could actually go up with this migration.

When reviewing the Google Pagespeed report for my old Ghost blog vs my new Webflow site, the old Ghost blog technically loaded faster by about 1 second yet my Webflow site had a higher SEO score. So maybe at the end of the day, that's all that mattered.

Updated chart showing results going into Memorial Day Weekend:

As you can see, even with the Memorial Day weekend dip, impressions are still up drastically.
